I don't know how...

....but I'm going to make the most of this opportunity.

I just made the payment for my three credits at Grand Valley. MingHuan Xu has agreed to take me as a violin student for this Winter. Did you read about her?

I'm already nervous..but mostly excited.

It's a one hour lesson per week, but I receive three credits towards my Masters at MSU. So that means, I practice...a lot. Maybe during nap time? In the basement?

I haven't really 'studied' violin in six years. And my playing has painfully regressed. I better go practice now. And I'll have to take a trip here soon to get my bow re-haired and maybe repaired.

I'm proud of you Ang! This is something you need to do just for you. You give so much to others and you deserve to spend some time to stretch that wonderful gift you have.

Love you,

Dad C.

This is so exciting. :) I keep wanting to take lessons again, and I was just thinking how much I missed playing with you... we should do that again soon, somehow.:)

I wanted to cry on the phone with you today. Because the thought that you'll be 'stretching that wonderful gift you have', as Dad C said, made me so happy.

You deserve this. Relish it.

What an awesome opportunity! When things are scary, most often result in a great amount of growth. Looking forward to hearing about it. :)

WOW! New violin lessons with a real honest-to-goodness teacher! How exciting, huh? I'm proud of you. And way to use the credits to work on your masters! Let me know how that all goes...including the practicing...lol.

Angela,

Thanks for making Joshua feel so comfortable today. As a mom it is comforting to know that he will be on stage with you! The 12 Days of Christmas was adorable, well done. Joshua commented today on how he loves to hear you sing:) See you in the morning!
